“I Have been going to STANHOPE's  for a few years after being impressed with a co-workers consistently flattering haircuts. I love that Derek is willing to  style in different ways than the usual " Halifax Hair-duh" .if it is totally unsuitable for your face then he will discuss that and explain why and suggest modifications that would approximate the look you want but be more suitable, The fact that my hair has been complimented by total strangers in places like London,Vancouver  and New York ( no exaggeration! ) is a testament to his skill and talent. Because of the way Derek styles, my hair still looks good even months later. The staff camaraderie  and off the wall humour is  an additional perk.     J.G
